What are Camp Processes?

Camp leaders manage and synchronize many moving parts to run a successful camp: facilities, staffing, funding, programming, safety, marketing, and the list goes on. If we define a "process" as a sequence of steps that someone takes to achieve a desired outcome, then there are 200+ processes (with thousands of associated tasks and steps) needed to run your camp. Many of these repeat week after week and summer after summer.

Attach every process to a role (such as "Marketing Director") so anyone stepping into that role has immediate access to their list of assigned processes. They can quickly see 100% of what that role does throughout the year. These up-to-date job descriptions link to all the processes for a role, so training is faster, cross-training is easier, and job-sharing is possible.


6. Track task completion
Every process that is scheduled automatically creates a task for every time that the process needs to be run. A master task calendar shows all the tasks generated from all the recurring processes.
